Etude House Ice Cream Nail Polishes in Banana and Blue Mint
Etude House Ice Cream Nail Polish in Blue Mint
How cute are these nail polishes?! I must admit, the packaging is what initially attracted me to them. The price persuaded me, too, being just £2.90 each (including P&P).
The formula was a pleasant surprise, with Blue Mint taking 2 coats to become opaque, and Banana taking 2-3. Yellows tend to be streaky, and the other similar yellow I have (Sally Hansen's Yellow Kitty) takes 3 coats WITH a white base, so I'm really happy with this one.
On its own, Blue Mint looks like a sky blue, but compared to my other sky blues, it's definitely more turquoise (which is great because I didn't have one!).
As you can tell, I'm really impressed with these and would definitely recommend them. I think they'd make great presents, too!
I'm really tempted to buy Green Apple as well now, which is a light lime/grass green. Are there any shades catching your eye?
These are the cutest thing ever! I must get some! x

have you tried the sparkley ones? they're so cute ^_^
ReplyDeleteNo because I prefer plain colours, but they look like chocolate chip ice creams! So cute :)
DeleteThese colours are perfect for summer! And how do you grow you nails, mine don't grow, they always chip off. And does this bramd have a UK website?xo

Yeah, they're so bright and pretty! I don't do anything to my nails, so I can't help you there! My nails just naturally grow quickly. But if yours are breaking, maybe look at some nail strengtheners? I know Sally Hansen has a variety. I've just looked and I don't think this brand does have a UK website. eBay is probably your best bet (I set my eBay up when I was about 13! And PayPal is quick and easy to use too)
DeleteThey are so gorgeous, I've had some of the pastel ones on my watch list for a while now, really need to buy them!
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute, they would make great gifts x

ReplyDeletehttp://benebelle.com/2013/03/22/etude-house-mint-chocochip/ if you want to see. LOVE the packaging, one of the reasons I got it, I thought it was just their "ice cream" polishes that came in this packaging! As I have an Etude House glitter as well which is in different packaging
