I'm going to love decorating my own place when I move out, but for now, I have to make do with just buying items for my room and baking!

As well as buying some under bed storage and Yankee Candle Simply Home Wax Tarts from Asda, I bought some Ditsy Cake Tins for £7 and some Baking Stamps for £3. Cake tins are great for storing anything in, and I love the simple print of these ones. I'm currently using them for my most used skincare and new makeup bits. I've already used the stamps, which you can see the result of here.

I love H&M Home, and it'll be one of the first places I go when I move out. I've wanted a plain, light grey bedding set for a while now, so was pleased when I saw the one above. It retails for £29.99, which is quite steep for plain bedding, but I managed to get it for slightly less with a discount code. I also added the metal cake stand to my basket for £6.99. This comes in a variety of colours and a smaller size, too. Then, my favourite purchases were these mini glass vases, which were £7.99 for a set of three. They're so cute, and will look great anywhere.

I wasn't planning on posting about these items, but was in the mood to blog, so here we are!

Primark bag - £12

I've never owned a formal bag, but with uni about to end and interviews about to begin (hopefully), I thought it was about time I did. I'd heard people talk about this being similar to the Zara Office City Bag, which I quite liked the look of, so decided to buy it. However, once in store, I wasn't sure, so left it. Then I found one I liked in H&M, but it looked very similar, and was £24.99 instead of Primark's £12, so thought I may as well get the cheaper of the two. It's smart, practical, and I like the texture of it. I've already taken the Atmosphere 'leather' tag off, though, because it just cheapened it.

Cotton shoppers are so handy to have around, and you can't complain for the price!

Primark white face cloths - £1.50, and duck egg 'luxury' face cloths - £2.50

I've started using Lush's Ultrabland cleanser, so was in need of some face cloths... there's nothing else to say here!

Superdrug Face & Bikini Wax Strips - £4.29 or 2 for £5

The only wax strips I've ever used were some ones I won in a giveaway a few years ago. I finally finished those recently, though, and was in need of some more. Lack of variety and mixed reviews left me undecided, but then I came across these. I'm hoping they perform well, but if they don't, I haven't lost a great deal of money.

Real Techniques Blush and Expert Face Brushes - £5.87 and £5.29 from Asda Direct

I use the Powder and Stippling ones every day, and wanted to try these two next. I couldn't resist when I saw the prices; so much cheaper than Boots. 

Revlon Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya - £7.99 from Boots

After falling in love with Revlon's Lip Butter in Wild Watermelon, I wanted to get my hands on this beautiful peach shade. There's currently a huge 3 for 2 going on in Boots, but I'm ever so indecisive, so just left with this. Will be kicking myself later, no doubt.

Currently Loving #02 - Florals and Stationery

Florals and stationery... what's new? My Asda Direct order arrived yesterday, and I couldn't be happier with this bedding. It's beautiful, and was only £12! I also ordered another bedding set and a couple Real Techniques brushes because they were half the price you pay in Boots. I realised last night that I've bought three bedding sets, two throws, two fitted sheets, and pillow cases in the last month - Oops! I don't feel too bad about it, though, because everything was very well priced, and I hadn't bought bedding in months.

This diary and notebook set (which also came with a pen). My sister bought it for me for Christmas, and I love the designs. The best part about it, though, is the price - £1.99 from Card Factory!

Refills so I can use one of my favourite pens again! Both are from Paperchase.

NSPA Lime Hair and Body Wash

The scent of a body product is important to me, and I like my shower gels to really pack a punch. The juicier and stronger, the better! I've used Original Source's lime shower gel for years, making it a staple in my shower routine. I've tried store own brand lime shower gels, and while nice (they're lime, after all), they didn't have that kick. I don't mind other scents being like that, but to me, lime is known for its kick! Anyway, while in the beauty isle of ASDA, I spotted this gem: NSPA's Lime Hair and Body Wash. I smelt it and was actually taken aback by how strong and juicy it was. Once home, I compared to my beloved Original Source, and you know what? I think this is zestier. For £3, or 2 for £4, I'm even more pleased. With the black packaging and 'hair' in the title, it looks like it's designed to appeal to men as well. Even so, I used it as a shampoo myself, and it cleaned my hair like any other shampoo would, but made it smell amazing afterwards. I won't be replacing my everyday shampoo for it, but I'll use it every so often! As a shower gel, or 'body wash', it also works great. It cleans my body, and that's what every shower gel should do!

NSPA peach products

I've come to love peach products over the last year. Whether it smells like peach, or is a shade of peach, I'm all over it! I absolutely love The Body Shop's Vineyard Peach range, and even though the products are more expensive than what I usually pay, I've bought them because the scent is harder to come by than others (such as mango and strawberry). So you can imagine my excitement when I saw that NSPA, the inexpensive face and body range that can be found in ASDA, had recently brought out their own peach scented products. There's a body butter and shower gel available in the scent, both of which are £3 each or 2 for £4 - Bargain! They smell like peach, obviously, and therefore smell amazing. I've compared them to The Body Shop's varieties, and thought they smelt the same at first, but after using them a few times I can say that they're not as juicy. It's a shame because I like my body products, especially my shower gels, to pack a punch. However, they still smell incredible, and I'll definitely be repurchasing. In terms of performance, the body butter is creamy (rather than greasy), it absorbs into the skin quickly, and doesn't leave any residue behind. It then leaves my skin feeling moisturised, like a body butter should! The shower gel is like most shower gels; it lathers, it cleans, and it does its job. 

I also picked up a couple of other items from NSPA the same day I bought these, so expect some more reviews to come! The lime shower gel smells amazing. Have you tried any NSPA products?

I needed new underwear and I really like Primark's, so I stocked up! I love my briefs ;)

Primark cardigans £6 each

I've been looking for simple cardigans for ageesss, so was pleased when I saw these. They're not as long as the ones I normally wear, but I still like them.

New Look stretchy vests £3.99 and £2.49 for the string ones (navy one is in the wash)

I always wear a vest under my tops and needed some new ones. These are great quality and I'm definitely going to buy more.

Rymans academic week to view diary £4.99, WHSmith memory stick £9.99

I was going to buy a Filofax, but I only wanted one for the academic diary, so when I saw this one in Rymans, I snapped it up. It's simple and does the job :)

ASDA mugs £1.25 each

I bought a couple more mugs... I'm getting quite the collection!

Samsung Galaxy Ace, phone cases 3 for £2.79

I upgraded my phone. My previous phone was the Samsung Tocco Lite and I knew I wanted a touch screen Samsung again. I bought the cases from an eBay seller and I'm really impressed. Definitely going to buy a few more colours!

Shop!

The photos aren't of great quality because my camera was running out of battery!

It's my dad's birthday tomorrow. He doesn't like presents, a fuss and has everything he needs. I decided to get him a jar and fill it with his favourite sweets, wine gums. I also couldn't resist putting Jelly Tots on top!

H&M extra small dress, £14.99. This photo doesn't do the dress justice at all! I didn't have time to put it on though as my camera was flashing at me. It's high waisted. I don't want to wait until the Summer to wear this so I think I'm going to pair it with tights and a cardigan to wear now.

Asda necklace, half price £4. I was going to buy this last week but didn't want to spend £8 so when I saw it on offer it went straight into the trolley.

Christmas Nails

Earlier on in the week my nails were painted red but they got completely ruined as I have been decorating my room (Wrong time I know, I just couldn't wait!). Last night I couldn't be bothered to paint them with another red because it's the one colour that takes me a while to paint. I've also worn different shades of reds for two weeks so wanted something different.

George (Asda) nail polish in Warrior.

It's the only goldish colour I have but I really like it as it's subtle and not tacky.

Here is No45 Warior and No54 Magical. £1.50 each.

& here's a rubbish photo of them aha, on the thumb you have Warior (Shimmery sandy beige colour) but the camera isn't picking up the shimmer. Magical (Coralish colour) )is on the index finger. Warior only needed 1/2 coats and is great but Magical is very sheer and needed 4 coats and it could really do with another 2 coats. It's a shame about the consistency of this polish because it's like a jelly bean colour which I love.
