Soap & Glory's Peaches and Clean 4-in-1 Wash Off Deep Cleansing Milk

I've been using this product for over a month now, so thought it was about time I shared my thoughts on it! This has actually been out of stock on the Boots website, and in store, for a while now. I'm hoping they're just repackaging it and not discontinuing! So, the price of this is £8, but it was £7 when I bought it. The price is reasonable for me because it's under £10 and cleansers are a personal necessity. The packaging is really cute, just like Soap & Glory's other products. The pump is great and just makes things easier! The scent is what initially drew me to this product. I'm going through a phase of loving anything to do with peaches. It also has a distinctive smell of mint, which I wasn't sure of at first, but it's really refreshing. The consistency is between a gel and cream, and different to anything I've tried before. It's not very thick, and feels like it's melting your makeup away. Moving onto the results; the main thing I look for in a cleanser is it must remove all of my makeup. Obviously. It should also leave my skin feeling soft, or at very least, normal. I don't want my skin feeling stripped. The formula achieves both of these things, and combined with the packaging and scent, makes me love this product. My skin isn't left that soft (nothing compares to my hot cloth cleansers in that department), but it feels clean, refreshed, and normal. No tightness here. Oh, for reference, I have normal cheeks and an oily t-zone. I'm not sure if this will give dry skin the moisture it needs (but that's what moisturiser is for, I suppose!). I'm really liking this product so far, and will repurchase it once I've used up the 3-4 other cleansers in my shower (oops!). I just hope it returns to the shelf! (UPDATE: It has returned to the shelf - It's just in different packaging!)

The Body Shop's Facial Cleansing Bar

Price: £3.00

What The Body Shop say: A vegetable-based soap that lathers onto the skin to leave it feeling cleansed, lightly moisturised, soft and refreshed. Especially formulated for use on the face, it can also be used on the body.

First of all, I really like the scent. Initially I couldn't pin point it but I knew I had smelt something like it before. I thought I was close when strawberry bonbons popped into my mind but my mum went 'ew no! that's not strawberry bonbons!' and then it hit me, turkish delight! That's why my mum isn't keen on the smell because she hates the sweets. My dad loves them so that's what I smell when he eats them.
It's not a strong scent so don't be put off if you don't like the smell of turkish delight. That's just what it reminds me of but it is a floral/sweet scent and it's gorgeous.

This is the best cleanser I have used. Now that's a strong statement but here's why:
  • This lathers loads and I like my facial washes to do that as then I know it's working.
  • It literally leaves my face squeaky clean.
  • Afterwards my skin feels soft.

For a couple minutes after using your face feels slightly tight, but I love it when that happens.

Some people might say: 'It's a bit expensive for a bar of soap' and I will say yes it's a bar of soap, but it's a cleanser and £3.00 for a cleanser is great value for money. This also lasts ages! I've been using mine for a few weeks and it hasn't changed in size. I also read a review where it only slightly decreased in size after having it for a few months.

Would I re-purchase? Definitely, this is now my holy grail cleanser!

Superdrug's Vitamin E Cleanser and Eye Make-Up Remover

Price: £1.95

"Naturally sourced Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant which not only revitalises and protects the skin, it also helps combat the damaging effects of free radicals and shields it against the environment.

Gently and effectively removes all types of make-up."

This is a standard product that does exactly what it says: cleanses and removes eye make-up. The formulation is light and is very moisturising.

I would recommend this product if you are looking for an everyday cleanser/eye make-up remover.

AVON Solutions Pure Pore-Fection Self Foaming Cleanser

£3

First of all the packaging, its simple which I like and has a pump for the product to come out of. The pump makes it so easy to use - I can be quite lazy and normally can not be bothered to open a lid, squeeze the product out and then foam it up.

Which brings me on to my next point: Its self foaming which means I don't have to do it! Little things like that makes all the difference to me. The actual product itself is very light and when massaging in to the skin, you can barely feel its there - I sometimes leave it on while washing my hair out and forget I have it on because its so light.

The cleanser does a good job, like a cleanser should - removes dirt & makeup and my skin does feel fresh & clean. Its hard for me to tell if a product reduces shine on my skin but I think this product does make a difference.

Over all: I really like this product :) I will be re purchasing this as well as Avon's Anew 2 in 1 cleanser as they are the best cleansers I have used. Hats off to Avon :)

Avon Haul & New Phone

Solutions Pure Pore-Fection Self-Foaming Cleanser £1.50, Solutions Plus Total Radiance Skin Refining Clay Mask £1.50, Glazewear Dimensions Lipstick in Nude Gold and Sequins Pink £4.50 each, Ultra Colour Rich Lipstick in Iced Coffee £3.25.

From top to bottom: Iced Coffee, Iced Coffee blended out, Sequins Pink, Nude Gold.

I've just sent the lipsticks back because Iced Coffee isn't my kind of colour and Nude Gold & Sequins Pink are not that pigmented. Plus I hardly ever wear lip products and regret getting them!

I can not wait to try out the cleanser and clay mask - reviews will be coming up :)

I also got a new phone today: Samsung Genio Touch. This phone comes with my contract and is known as the budget touch phone for young teenagers. I agree, this phone is cheap and will appeal to the younger market as you can change the back of the phone to different colours. It is quite a good phone so far and I don't mind that it only has a 2mp camera because I don't use the cameras on phones. If this phone had a better camera, it would be absolutely amazing for people who do use them. I have changed the back cover to black because I only like black sleek phones.

I read some reviews on this phone but you can not really go by these as this phone only came out last month so no one can properly review it. The main things said about this phone is the price and camera. Someone also said that the speaker isn't very loud? They can not be more wrong - its really loud!

So far, I reaaaally like this phone! I think it should be a lot more expensive than its price tag.

Anew 2 in 1 Cleanser - Review

I know I know, its another product from Avon. But I love their products & plus I have no money at the moment so I'm doing some reviews.

Anew 2 in 1 Cleanser. This is £7 but as I've said before, Avon always have offers going on so you should be able to get it cheaper.
So basically all your do is wet your face, rub the product in your hands so it creates a lather and dissolves the blue beads, massage on to face & then wash off.

Avon's description: 'Energize skin and fight the signs of aging while you cleanse! Innovative 2-in-1 cleanser/toner deep-cleans pores, while it energizes dull, fatigued skin. Micro-spheres burst on application to release skin-enhancing ingredients. Cools, refreshes, and purifies your complexion every day. Skin looks less lined, more radiant.'

This wakes your skin up, makes it feel fresh and your skin feels brand new. It feels as though your face is glowing. Use this in the shower in the morning and you'll soon be awake. I really do love this cleanser :)
