I already have a black Lab & six cats! Four of which are related and all four keep getting pregnant so my house is full of kittens and even more to come! But I have wanted a puppy for ages. Finally we found one :) She is a Collie cross Lab. I wanted a Collie in the first place because I did have one but unfortunately she died two years ago at the age of fifteen. I was also fifteen and grew up with her since I was a baby so it was a huge loss. We are naming the new puppy Jessie after my old dog :) She is black with white paws and a white cross on her chest. I can not take pictures yet as she is settling in but I will soon :)
Wow, 60 followers! Even though my last two posts haven't got any comments! Take 1 minute out of your day to write a comment on someones blog, trust me, it will make them smile :) I would like to thank every single one of my followers. I am not going to do a contest yet because I haven't got the money! But I will in a few months so be on the look out! I know how disappointing it is to not win a contest and most of you think 'whats the point I never win' and if I could give everyone a prize I would, but I'm not that rich I'm afraid. On another note... - I went shopping today so I have a haul coming up. Only two nail polishes and a mascara in terms of cosmetics. - I also got my GCSE results Thursday & I am very happy with them :) - I start sixth form on the 7th of September and I am a tad nervous, hopefully it will be OK as my friends will be there :) That's it I think, my life hasn't been exciting lately.
My sister kindly picked me up Collection 2000's Hot Looks nail polish in BMX Bandit:
I would say that the second picture is true to what this polish looks like. The first one looks more blue than what it is. I love this colour and the polish itself is really good. It dried so quickly! Which is a good thing :) There are five more colours from this collection which I want.
There is a colour from Miss Sporty which I am also going to get on Saturday. It is like BMX Bandit but more vibrant and a gorgeous blue/purple colour:
Miss Sporty nail polish's are £1.95. I have quite a few from this brand and I love them. You should check out the other colours they do: http://www.miss-sporty.co.uk/ x
£1.50 Silver flower earrings - I think their cute :)
£3 - Normally £6 Pedicure 4 in 1. Including a file similar to 'Pedegg', Sponge, Pumice stone & Foot file.
£3 - Normally £5 Glimmersticks Brow Definer in Dark Brown. Its nothing to do with the product its self, because the product works fine, but I am thinking of sending this back simply because I look weird with my eyebrows defined. Either this or I'm just not used to them looking different!
So this is what my toes currently look like. I've used Barry M's Pink Flamingo & then a French tip polish to do the flower. I know in terms of detail its rubbish but I haven't got a nail art pen to do fine detailing. I think they look very cute :)
£7.50 down from £10. This is going to be my bag for school as it is hugeee. It has an over the shoulder strap as well as two normal handles. Circle detailing at the top, stud detailing at the bottom and I think the pattern is really pretty (Different flower prints).
I could of bought a bag from Primark for a few pounds cheaper but whatever you buy from there, half the people you know will have it too.
£3.98 I've been using the small 30ml invigorating tubes of St.Ives & I really like them so I thought I'd try out a full size of the blemish fighting.
I also got quite a lot of stationary for back to school but I doubt you want to see that. :)
I barely wear eyeshadow & when I do its normally just a wash of a neutral colour, so my BeautyUK palette rarely gets used due to the insane bright colours ( A few rainbow looks but thats about it ). But lately I have been using bright eyeshadow on my lower lash line to give a look a pop of colour and I've been running to this ( not literally, I would just look like a silly moo! ). I wear the blues a lot of the time because they make my brown eyes look amazing. Here is the little bundle of joy: This is the number 2 palette which obviously is the bright coloured one. I think there are three more as well. These gorgeous palettes can be found in Superdrug and are only £3.49! Now some people would think 'Beauty UK, £3.49? Mustn't be very good' & they would be completely wrong. These palettes are highly pigmented & a must have, simply because they're cheap, good quality & if you buy all the palettes, you would be set on the colours you need.
These are my favourite lipsticks & can not wait to buy more! The first one is Avon Ultra Colour Rich Lipstick & the colour I have is Frozen Rose:
This colour is like a dusky pink with gold reflects. This shade is a neutral colour so will suit any skin tone ( Avon also say so ). The normal price for this is £6.50.This goes on smoothly, feels really creamy and just feels amazing to wear. This just adds that little more pigmentation to your lips with a gorgeous shimmer effect...
The second lipstick is Ultra Colour Rich Mousse Lipstick SPF15. I have this in Delicate pink:My camera has died so these images are from the internet, the colour of the lipstick above is not Delicate pink. Here is an Image of what the colour looks like:
This colour is basically a toned down pink and is also a neutral shade so any ages can wear this colour. I love love love this! Again it is creamy, moisturising and you do not need to wear a gloss over this lipstick because it already looks as if your wearing one. The SPF15 is a bonus and the 'moisturising core' really does seem to work. The normal price for this lipstick is £7.
The prices I have gave you won't really matter because Avon always have deals on like '2 for £8' or 'Spend £15 and get a free handbag' so the overall prices which you pay for their products work out really cheap. I defiantly recommend Avon's lipsticks. :)
I started this blog 5 days ago & thought I'd be lucky to get 5 followers. Now I know to some people 18 followers isn't many at all, but when your new on here or Youtube, you are just over the moon to have one person read your posts. Thank you to everyone who has started to follow my blog, it means a lot & the people who also have their own blog know what it feels like. At the moment I have an empty pocket, purse & bank account! & won't be able to buy anything till next month but in the mean time I could do some reviews. I have been using Dove summer glow and the self tanner from Avon which I will be reviewing. On a whole their alright, but I am getting OCD and keep thinking I look orange! I'll search around my room later to see what I can review, I can't help myself, this starts to become addictive! Again, thank you to those of you who actually read my posts :)
So today I went to the cinema with some friends to see The Ugly Truth. It is a really good film & hilarious. Plus it was 2 for 1 orange Wednesday so only cost me £2.25 :) After the film, we walked back through town and popped in to Accessorize. There were hundreds of things I wanted straight away but I only had £4.50 on me! ( Well that's all I had all together, I'm a bit skint at the moment. Can not wait till I get my EMA! ) Then I noticed the 70% off section & wow, there were some bargains there! I wanted everything but could only settle for one thing :( So I decided to go with these sunglasses:
The pictures do not do them justice. Their a pretty simple shape but I love them, they suit me perfectly & would suit most people too. I don't like big bug eye sunglasses (Sorry!) so these are perfect. I also love the circle pattern sides. These were originally £15 but were on sale for £4.50! I think that is a pretty good bargain ( & that's all the money I had )
I love these nail paints! Bold colours, thick & creamy, long lasting. I know everybody raves about them, but I have to agree & the price is affordable (£2.95 or 2 for £5 when the offer applies ) so go out & buy some!
As you can see from the photo below, I have a lot of pinky colours & I think I need a few more blues & purples.
So from left to right: Limited Edition Pink, Bright Pink, Pink flamingo & Coral. I would say that Pink Flamingo is like Bright Pink mixed with a bit of Coral. If you want to see the colours on my nails then let me know but the colours you see in the bottle are the colour they come out. One coat works fine but I would put two coats on to give a true colour to what it is in the bottle. :)
This is one of Batiste's new fragrances. Here is a list of all the different fragrances you can get: Original Tropical ( A coconuty smell ) Blush ( Light floral smell ) Boho ( A sweet smell but couldn't smell it properly as I had all of the other smells up my nose!) Diva ( Similar to Blush, clean floral smell )
This product is £1.95.
'Revitalises greasy, dull and lifeless hair between washes. Instantly leaves your hair feeling clean, full of body and smelling beautiful.'
I love this product & agree with what it says. If you have greasy hair & don't have time to wash it, all you have to do is spray this on your hair and brush it out. The product comes out white because it is a powder in a can basically. The powder absorbs the grease & oil leaving your hair clean, full of body and smelling beautiful just as it says on the can! I would defiantly recommend this product because we all have those days where we just don't have the time. It does the job quickly & is so easy to use.
So this is my new best item in my wardrobe. The dress is from Newlook & was £10 down from £30 - Bargain! It fits perfectly & the colour is amazing. I can also dress it down with a black cardigan, leggings and dolly shoes. :)
Hello! I have decided to create a blog so I can talk about beauty products. I have a lot of reviews I want to do and I'm a bit shy to make videos on Youtube, so what better place to get my thoughts across than here! I doubt anyone will be reading my posts, but you never know. X
