For When I Leave The House

Hauls aren't rare on this blog, but clothing ones are. I'm usually in uniform or pyjamas, leaving very little room for other pieces! I have bought a few bits recently, though, so thought I'd gather everything together.

I already own these £24.99 boots from New Look. They're the first chelsea boots I've liked, and have really changed my outfits, so thought I'd get another pair while they're still around. The socks are also from New Look. At £1.99 a pair, or 3 pairs for £4, you can't go wrong, especially when they have pizzas on them.

H&M is probably my favourite place to shop for clothes. The items look more expensive than they are, so I'm always surprised when I look at a label and see that it's cheaper than the likes of New Look. The grey and teal ribbed tops are high necked, slightly cropped, and have sleeves which come an inch or two above the elbow. I'm not crazy on cropped clothing, but these look fine with a vest underneath. Best of all, they were only £6.99 each. The cacti sweater was only £5.99, people!

I want to be more social just so I can wear these £11 printed trousers from Primark.

Primark has some beautiful lingerie in at the moment. I picked up navy and lemon yellow crocheted sets, but the navy bra had to be returned because the balconette fit was so poor. The yellow one fits nicely, though, and it was £8. The thongs were both £3 each.

The bag in the first photo is from Accessorize, and was £16 down from £32. I'm not cool enough to wear it as a rucksack, but it works well when using the strap to create a shoulder bag.

Excuse the Instagram photo, but I bought another high neck jumper, with this one being from Oasis. It was £12 down from £25, with free delivery. I'm impressed with the quality, so will have to make sure I check out Oasis more often.

SS16 with Accessorize

It was payday, I was in the mood to shop, and found myself on the Accessorize website. It happens to the best of us. 

Some of the spring/summer prints they have in at the moment are beautiful, and I ended up buying three items in the same print because I liked it so much.

I always have a shopper bag inside my handbag, and I couldn't resist this pineapple print one for £5. The necklace was overpriced, at £15, but I'd had my eye on some similar for the best part of a year. I ordered it thinking I could always return it, but ended up really liking it, which was kind of annoying!

I've seen non-wired, triangle bras cropping up in various stores recently, and while I don't have the confidence to wear one out, I think they're perfect for lounging around the house in. This one was £10, and is very pretty. For reference, I'm a 34D and bought this in a medium, which happens to fit well. I'm a size 8 in clothes, but not when it comes to bras with this sizing scale, so never know which size to get. It happened to work in my favour this time, though.

I love Accessorize underwear. They're the prettiest things, and happen to last better than their cheaper counterparts. I bought two Brazilian briefs for £7 each and two thongs for £5 each.

The pj bottoms were £13 down from £18, and in the Fleur print I'm clearly a fan of. I just love these, and think they'll look great with a white vest/tee.

I also bought a bag for my mum for Mother's Day, and had a 10% off code, which softened the blow a little! Is Accessorize a place you buy from often?

Recently Purchased | River Island, H&M, Primark, Accessorize, Zoeva, and More

I rarely buy clothing these days because I'm mostly in uniform or pjs, but I cleared out about 60% of my wardrobe the other day, so there were some gaps to fill.

My sister bought some jeans from River Island not long back, and has been very impressed with them, so I wanted to get a pair. I usually opt for ones of the indigo variety, but like lighter ones in the spring/summer, so chose the ripped, mid wash pair above. These were £35.

I also bought the yellow satchel from River Island for £20 (down from £30). I'd had my eye on it online because I love my smaller yellow satchel from Primark, so was thankful they had plenty available in store. I don't think it's a hugely popular colour, but I wear very simple, plain garments, so like adding a pop of colour in the form of an accessory.

The navy bag is from Accessorize, and was £12.50 down from £25. I love its simplicity, and think it'll be great for work. If you're looking for a new bag, it's worth checking them out because they currently have a sale on. I also picked up a cute pair of socks for £1.75 (down from £3.50), and signed up to their rewards card, which I didn't know they did.

The black and grey speckled cardigan is from H&M, and was £10 down from £24.99. It comes down to my knees, and isn't something I'd normally wear. Saying that, with just a pair of jeans and a vest, it looks really nice.

The striped and grey speckled tees were also from H&M, priced at £6.99 each. You can never have too many good quality, basic t-shirts.

The boots (Primark, £15) are also very unlike me. I normally avoid ankle length boots because they make my feet look huge, but decided to just go for it with these, after my sister insisted my feet didn't look big at all. Just make sure you wear plasters on your ankles - mine are now blistered!

After saying I probably wouldn't buy the Zoeva brushes because it was most likely the rose gold packaging attracting me to the sets, I caved. I initially thought I'd go for the vol. 2 set, but ended up going for the original Rose Golden one because it had more face brushes. £56.95 is a lot, but divided between 8, it's just over £7 a piece, and you receive a case. Only 6 are pictured above because I've sold the other two. I don't wear eyeshadow, so rather than them go to waste, I thought I'd send them on. Once I've used them for a decent amount of time, I'll dedicate an entire post to them, but I will say that they're very soft. The blush brush has shed a few hairs, and I don't get on with the Wing Liner brush for its intended use (better for eyebrows), but I'm happy with everything else so far.

I also bought a load of hair products from the likes of Tresemme, L'Oreal, and John Frieda last week, because I clearly needed more. Some hair products are on clearance in Boots, and they're still included in the 3 for 2 offer, so I paid £7.01 for 9. I've found that each store is different, and the smaller ones are the best, because they don't have room to carry all the lines.

Taking It Back | Old Blogger Favourites

I will have been blogging for six years this year, and in that time, a lot of products have come and gone. The ones above are only some of the favourites; I either didn't own the rest (mostly because I was a teenager with very little money), ended up throwing them out, or have simply forgotten about them! I've never been able to part with the above, though, and even though I rarely use them now, I still like to come back to them from time to time.

I remember loving Accessorize makeup, and seeing so many reviews on the baked blushes. I still think they're great, and it's a shame the range isn't really around now. After a quick search, I can tell you that these were popular from 2010-2012 - I've just been reading reviews from bloggers I still follow and love now.

Barry M Dazzle Dusts. Of course. These are still around and cost £4.59 for a generous pot of shimmery pigment. A couple of the shades I have are green and blue because I used to like wearing those shades on my lower lash line. The nude shades were the most loved among bloggers, though, and I've just seen a newer shade called Athena, which looks very pretty.

The Seventeen (17 back in the day) Supreme Shine Lipsticks were a big hit in 2011/2012, and the packaging has been updated since. The shade Belle, in particular, was a must have. It's a natural, pretty pink, and the entire range is light, moisturising, and glossy. 

I used to love the Collection Glam Crystals Gel Liners in 2009/10, and had every shade. I recently threw most of them out, but couldn't part with the two blue ones. Even after all this time, they've barely dried out.

The Collection Cream Puff Moisturising Lip Creams used to be well loved a few years back, and still are now. They're similar to the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams, and are only £2.99. I think I'm going to start wearing these again because I really did love them.

I've just been going through old posts (which I don't recommend doing!), and there's been many product favourites over the years. Sleek, as a brand, used to be at the very top, but I rarely look at their stand now. My tastes have changed since my 16 year old self started blogging, and if I continue writing on this little part of the internet, it'll be interesting to look back and see myself developing even more.

Recent Purchases

This post is going up about a month later than I originally intended because I just kept buying things! As well as all my brand specific hauls (Lush, The Body Shop, Yankee Candle, Illamasqua, Makeup Revolution...), these are the purchases I made when feeling really spendy in January.

The Christmas sales were a disappointment, especially after three of my orders were cancelled. I did manage to buy some bargains from Ciate, though. The Mini Mani Manor went down to £14.70, the Candy Cane House to £7.50, and the Cranberry Love Me Oil to £5.50. I then bought a couple of the Big Beauty Buses from Boots for £5 each.

I also managed to pick up the No7 Skincare Collection in the Boots sale for about £6, which I'll be giving to my mum for Mother's Day. Online, Boots also had the Marc Jacobs Daisy Sunshine for £22.50 instead of £45, so I had to add it to my collection! Other purchases from Boots include the Rimmel Gel Eyeliner in Emerald £6.99 (a twist on black which should make my eyes and hair pop), the Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick in Peach Poppy £6.99 (so pretty), the No7 Eyelash Curlers £7.25 (they're okay, but not great - other reviews are very negative!), and the Garnier Ultimate Blends Honey Treasures 1 Minute Treatment £2.99 down from £4.99 (smells great and conditions my hair, but not to a great extent).

From Lush, I bought a large pot of Ultrabland for £11.50 because it's one of my favourite cleansers, ever. I also picked up the Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask for free because I brought back 5 black pots. It smells incredible, but easily crumbles off your face. It does seem to cleanse and mattify my face, though.

I always buy underwear in the Accessorize sale, and the ones above were £2-3 each, instead of £5-6. I also bought the parrot shopper for £8 because I love a shopper!

The dress doesn't look like much folded up, but it's really pretty. It's from Closet, and one I had my eye on for graduation, but it wasn't really appropriate for that, so I bought a couple others from the brand (and ended up keeping both because they fit so well!). It was £26 down from £51 in the Dorothy Perkins sale, which I think is pretty good, considering I wanted it beforehand. The back has a V shape, but you can still wear a normal bra with it. I'm just waiting for a summer wedding so I can wear it! I seriously love Closet for more formal dresses - the shapes are beautiful, and the quality incredible.

For some reason, I included my mini lint rollers from H&M when taking the first photo. They are helpful, though, and I've been keeping one in my bag.

Debenhams had the Marc Jacobs Daisy Delight for £24 instead of £48, and I had to buy it to complete my collection. I didn't mean to collect them - it just happened! Like the others, it smells beautiful.

Finally, I picked up a copy of Elle for the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. I dislike magazines, and this one's no different, but some samples are worth buying for. Roller Lash has a very similar wand to the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, and the effect is pretty similar, too. I think I prefer the Lash Sensational one, though, but I'll keep you posted.

What I Got For Christmas

For Christmas this year, we knew most of the presents we were getting from one another in my family. It wasn't as 'exciting', but we all received things we really wanted this way. I decided to choose things I wouldn't normally buy myself. For example, I couldn't justify buying the Topshop Dressing Gown (so soft!), Lush's Ro's Argan Body Conditioner (love, but expensive) or Lindt Lindor Maxi Ball for myself, so asked my parents for them. They also bought me Lush's Montalbano and Braziliant Shampoo Bars, Accessorize Koala Slippers, and a tin of sweets (mostly for the tin to store my baking bits in!).

From my sister, I received the Clintons Heart Print Diary (great quality pages), Paperchase List Book and Pen (love the print), battenberg shaped tin with recipe notes (we used to eat these on the way home from school - makes me feel sick just thinking about it now!), Next Apricot Blossom LED Candles, Next Apricot Blossom Reed Diffuser (had the smaller one previously and loved it), a pretty Next glass for milkshakes, and some sweet treats.

I just wanted to show you the things I chose, instead of everything I received. I had to include the Debenhams Fox Slippers my friend got me, though, because they're so cute!

Collective Haul

I don't feel like I've been buying much recently, but this photo says otherwise! 

So, you know the Pacifica fragrance sets I've mentioned a few times now? £18 on Feel Unique, bought a couple in January for £5, bought a couple more a few weeks back for £7.50? Well, Tesco Direct reduced them again, to just £3.75. £3.75! I'm glad they're not a well known brand over here. If they were, they would have sold out in a heartbeat. I now have four to give away as presents, and three myself.

I don't tend to buy many clothes from Primark (or from any store, really. Jeans and a plain tee will do me just fine). I just like the pj and home sections. I'm fond of their reed diffusers, so picked up four more; two sweet pineapple & ginger, and two blackcurrant & orchid. They smell great, and were only £3 each. I also bought some more cosy and thermal socks (£2 and £2.50). Love, love, love their thicker socks.

I reviewed the TRESemme Platinum Strength Shampoo a couple posts back (here), and then discovered that the bottles were half price in Superdrug (still are), so bought the Platinum Strength and Renewal Hair & Scalp duos. Each bottle was £2.47 down from £4.99. The 900ml and 750ml bottles are the same price, which is annoying, but these have been making a difference to my hair.

There was an offer on Soap & Glory facial products the other week in Boots, so I ended up paying £5-6 for the Ultimelt Hot Cloth Cleanser, rather than £10. I've used it a fair few times now, and... it's okay. It doesn't smell the nicest, it doesn't remove my makeup as well as others, and it doesn't leave my skin as soft as others. It's just okay. I like it, but wouldn't pay £10 for it. I then bought the Sugar Crush Body Scrub for £8. Full price. I don't think I've ever paid full price for a Soap & Glory product. There was a points voucher involved, though. Anyway, I've tried the other products in the range, and wanted to move away from exfoliating gloves and enter the world of scrubs. It smells better than the body wash and butter. It's incredible. I'm going to use it for the first time tonight, so will let you know how I get on.

I bought another Blistex Intensive Moisturiser (£2.59/Superdrug, £2.63/Boots) because I use my current one every night, and I also bought another Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick for £5.99 (normally £8.99). This shade is Peach Club. I like them, but can't say too much because I haven't worn them to their fullest potential yet. I've just been dabbing and blending a little in.

What happens when you combine a buy one get one half price offer, a £3 off voucher, and multiple point boosting vouchers? You spend, and you don't feel guilty about it. I bought the No7 Pop & Glow Cream Blush Stick in Classic Rose (normally £9.95), and the No7 High Shine Lip Crayon in Tropical Beach (normally £9). I ended up paying £6.95 and £4.50. I haven't tried them yet, but like the Instant Radiance Highlighting Stick I have from them. Tropical Beach also looks similar to Bourjois' Colour Boost Lip Crayon in Peach on the Beach, which is one of my favourites.

Lastly, the bag is from Accessorize. At £33.30 (usually £37), it wasn't the cheapest, but it's for my sister's birthday, and the patterns are really beautiful.

Recent Purchases (Accessorize, Bourjois, and Pacifica Bargains)

It's that time again! These are some of the things I've bought in the last couple of weeks.

Accessorize currently have a sale on, and I can never resist their sales. I spotted the lemon coin purse a few weeks back, and thought it was so cute and would make a nice present, but held off buying it because I knew there would be a sale soon. I ended up paying £3.50 instead of £7. I like that it fits cards in, unlike many coin purses. The sticky notes book was also £3.50 down from £7. Cute stationery at a great price is always a winner! I also picked up five pairs of underwear ranging from £2.50-£3.50 down from £5-£7. I love Accessorize's underwear, but it's expensive, so make the most of their sales. I then went back yesterday and bought the coral dolly shoes for £12.50 down from £25. I spotted these last month, but wasn't willing to pay £25 for a pair of dolly shoes. Then I found them in the sale in my size, but ended up talking myself out of buying them. When I went back in yesterday, they were still there. The last pair in my size. It was meant to be.

When the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipsticks first came out, I wasn't interested. None of the shades appealed to me, and I was going through a light, balmy lip product phase. I then swatched them again and really liked the look of 02 Frambourjoise, a pinky red shade. Fast forward a week and they were on offer for £5.99 in Superdrug, so I couldn't refuse!

The Pacifica sets I've had my eye on for months finally went down in price on Tesco Direct. They're currently £7.50 down from £15 (£18 on Feel Unique), so I ordered Indian Coconut Nectar and Island Vanilla (I may have to get Tuscan Blood Orange, too!). I already own the Ruby Guava set, which I managed to get in January for just £5. I think they're great products for your bag, and make beautiful gifts, too.

New Things

I used my iPhone for the photos above because my camera and I aren't getting on at the moment. I may use my phone for future hauls, too, because it's a lot quicker! This week, I've received my dissertation and final assignment grades (all good, thankfully), updated my CV and applied for a job, finished watching Chuck, watched the first season of OITNB, started watching Prison Break, and shopped. All in all, it hasn't been bad!

I featured the necklace in my New Favourites #05 post. It's from Accessorize and was £6, which isn't too bad for them. It's small, sits on your collarbone nicely, and goes with most things. I also have my eye on another Accessorize necklace, but it's £15, so I'm going to wait and hope it's in their next sale!

Even though my ELF Studio Eyebrow Kit in Light is still going strong, I wanted to buy a back up. I bought it here for £4.99 including P&P. Now that it's gone up to £3.95 on ELF's website and P&P is £2.95, it's cheaper to get it on eBay. I know ELF often have codes floating around, but I didn't want anything else.

I bought the No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter yesterday for £6.95 because I had one of those £3 off vouchers to use. I wasn't planning on getting it, but loved how it swatched. Also liked the BB Lips Beauty Balms, and wish I'd picked one up now!

I then bought the Barry M Loud Mouth Extreme Liquid Lip Colour in Show Off for £3.99. It's a warm, coral pink, which is very pigmented and similar to the Sleek Pout Paints. I tested it out yesterday evening and it was still present after three hours, a stir fry, and a bowl of ice cream (half a tub, really...). It had faded, but it was even. I then went ahead and ordered another three shades, so look out for reviews and swatches soon!

The mug is from Wilkinson and was £2. The print is nice, but the main reason I bought it was because of its size. It's like a small bowl, fitting two normal sized cups of tea in!

The tins were from TK Maxx and cost £2.99-£3.99. I'm always on the look out for tins because they're great for storing my baking bits (and anything else).

The yellow satchel was from Primark and cost £6. I've only ever used bags for school/uni, so have never owned a small one. I loved the colour of this, though, so just had to get it. They also had it in mint and pink. This is probably my favourite item I bought yesterday because it's so different to anything I have!

The knickers were also from Primark, and were only £1 each. They have a nice shape and look good on, so I'm happy.

The last three photos are of boring items, but they're items most of us use. The lint rollers were from Primark and were £1.50 a pack. Lint rollers are a must in an animal filled house! The Bic Soleil razors were from Superdrug and were down to £1.83 from £3.69. I already had a couple packs stored away, but couldn't resist a couple more. They're something I'm always going to use! The Mitchum deodorant sticks were £1.48 and £1.66 from £2.99 and £3.35 (this offer isn't online, though). I started using Mitchum deodorants earlier this year and they seem to work better than others I've tried. 

I use Simple Baby Moisturising Wipes for removing makeup before cleansing, spot cleaning my brushes, and freshening up. They're normally around £1.99 for 80, which is great in comparison to standard facial wipes. However, I usually get them when they're 99p or 6 for £5 at Lloyds Pharmacy. My sister also happens to work at the latter, so gets staff discount. 67p for 80? Yes please!

The last photo shows my inner age. My new net curtains arrived yesterday and I really like them! It's surprising how much a new pair of net curtains brighten your room. I'm mentioning them because they were a bargain from eBay. For my large window, I paid £5.70 including P&P. You can find the listing here. You can probably get nicer ones, but for the price, these are great. They also look better than others I've had in the past.

New Favourites #05

I've written positive reviews on most of the products above, but realised that they haven't been in a Favourites yet, so here we are!

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil - £10/200ml - review here

I love both this and the Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, but have been reaching for this more often because it's quicker. Instead of unscrewing a lid and scooping, I can just pump. It removes all of my makeup well and leaves my skin feeling really soft. 

The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Body Mist - £7.50/100ml - review here

I have quite a few of The Body Shop body mists, and this is my new favourite. It smells like a fresh, juicy peach. Amazing.

Blistex Intensive Moisturiser - £2.59/5g at Superdrug, £2.63 at Boots

I have yet to mention this on Affordable Treats. Blistex were giving away 500 of these on Facebook a few weeks back, and I was lucky enough to win one. I wasn't expecting it to be anything special, but was blown away when I first used it. It feels like it moisturises your lips right the way through, instead of just the first layer of skin. I apply this at night, let the menthol do its thing, then wake up to moisturised, plump lips. I rarely have chapped lips, so cannot comment on if it helps to that extent, but it seemed to help my sister's. I'll definitely be buying another tube!

NYX Butter Gloss in Peach Cobbler - £5/6.5g - review here

Like I said in my review, I'm not usually one for gloss, but this is something else! It's not as orange as it looks in the tube, and it's not as pink as my swatch suggests, but a beautiful coral. It feels buttery, like the name suggests, but in a good way. It's also pigmented, lasts a few hours, and fades evenly. I also have Apple Strudel, but that shades tends to settle into the lines on my lips. Peach Cobbler doesn't.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Buttercream - £10.50/300ml - review here

My sister bought me this from eBay for just £4.69 including P&P. It smells like lime cheesecake, absorbs into the skin quickly, and leaves it feeling moisturised. Couldn't ask for more!

Accessorize Daisy Necklace - £6

I normally include my non-beauty favourites in my Currently Loving posts, but thought I'd just include this little item here. I like jewellery, but don't wear a lot of it because I always forget to. I went into Accessorize with my sister the other day because she wanted a ring, and she picked out this for me. I was surprised it wasn't more than it was, and love daisies, so decided to treat myself. It's small and sits perfectly on my collarbone, going with most of my tops. I could have bought a lot more, but will probably wait for their next sale!

Christmas Sale Purchases

I set out Christmas sale shopping this year with the goal to buy birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and Christmas presents. I bought a few things, but not a lot caught my eye.

The two pairs of slipper boots were from Accessorize, and were £10 each down from £20. I bought them for my mum for Mother's Day and my sister for her birthday in August.

The tea mug set was from Boots, and cost £3.75 down from £7.50. I thought this would make a nice little gift for anyone I know. Nothing else appealed to me, though! I wanted the Aroma hand warmers, but they were out of stock straight away, both online and instore.

The Pacifica Hawaiian Ruby Guava sets were from Tesco Direct, and were just £5 down from £15 (£18 on Feel Unique). I worked out that the individual products are worth $28, which is about £17-18. However, this is directly converting. These products are more expensive to buy in the UK, and would cost £25+ (the roller ball perfume alone is £12 on Holland & Barrett). The scent is nice, but different to what I was expecting. It starts off very citrus-y, like grapefruit, and then the coconut comes through. My mum isn't a fan, which kind of killed my buzz about them, but I still like the scent. I'm just hoping the people I bought them for like it, too. My sister bought me my own for my birthday, and I tried out the products last night. The perfume is stronger than expected, which was a pleasant surprise, and doesn't smell alcohol-y. The body butter is more subtle and sinks in quickly. The lip balm feels nice on the lips, and gives them a pink-y, nude-y, can't quite describe-y tint. I'm now hoping the other scents go down in price, too. Tuscan Blood Orange, Indian Coconut Nectar, and Island Vanilla all sound amazing.

New Bags from ASOS and Accessorize

I've only ever had bags that are practical for school/uni, and if I went somewhere else, I'd either just use the same ones, or shove my purse in my coat pocket. For the last two years of uni, I've been using Cath Kidston shopper bags, but wanted something with less print and more security. This was proving difficult, though, because I didn't want to leave my style completely and get a 'grown up' bag. I then decided on a satchel style, but finding ones that were able to fit A4 files in and weren't the colour tan was harder than I initially thought! I couldn't even find any I liked on eBay. The odds weren't in my favour, but I've somehow managed to become the owner of two new bags in the space of a week.

ASOS Large Satchel Bag with Scallop Trim and Front Buckles in Nude - £28

I came across this bag on ASOS while buying jeans, and knew straight away that it would be a squeeze to fit A4 things in, but it was too pretty to resist! The 20% off, free delivery, and free returns sealed the deal for me. It justtt about fits a display book and notebook in, as well a water bottle, pencil case, purse, and other bits and bobs. I do have to pop the sides out, though, and the display book slightly bends. Also, the colour isn't appropriate for hauling everywhere, so it's going to be my shopping and occasional uni bag. It took me a while to decide on that because I normally return something straight away if it isn't as practical as I'd like, but looks won this time. I'm tempted to buy the teal version of it, too. (It's more nude in real life; it's looking rather pink here)

Accessorize Hampstead Satchel in Chocolate Brown - £32

Even though this one isn't as pretty as the other, it's my favourite of the two. It's just more practical! The lock on the front is easier to open and close, it has a zip on the inside for extra security, there's a smaller compartment at the front, it's dark in colour, and it's slightly bigger, so it fits my A4 files in. It also has a zipped compartment and pockets on the inside, but the ASOS one has those, too. The main zip doesn't close with the A4 files in, but with the top over already, it's not an issue. It's just nice to have a zip if I use it for other things. Also, I must say, this fits my uni stuff in because I use display books (which fit loads of sheets in by the way; I'd recommend them over folders). If you use folders, you'll just be able to squeeze one in. My sister, who isn't as 'girly' as me, also really likes this bag, and within a few minutes of seeing it, ordered herself one! They also have it in navy and tan.

Are you a fan of satchels? Loads of them seem to be just that little bit too small for A4 files, and I wish they were made a few cm bigger! I may not need to carry around A4 files after uni, though, so it won't be a problem. Oh, man... the thought of life after uni is terrifying!

Accessorize Sale Haul

Accessorize currently have a sale on, and I couldn't resist having a look! Surprisingly, I didn't pick up any jewellery. It all looked nice collectively, but nothing stood out individually. The first thing I bought was the coral wallet, which was £8.50 down from £17. To be honest, I bought this in the moment! I'm currently using a purse I'm very happy with, so won't be using this for a while. Still, it'll come in handy one day! Or make a nice present. The next two items were things I'd previously had my eye on, so I'm glad I spotted them at 50% off. The owl keyring was £2.50 down from £5, and the fox purse was £4 down from £8. I bought two owl keyrings; one for me, and one for an extra present. They're so cute! The fox purse may also be a present, but I'm not sure yet. I think both would make nice gifts in a woodland themed present box. I then treated myself to some nice underwear because most of mine is boring and from multi packs. The blue pair were £3.50 down from £7, the black lace pair were £3 down from £6, and the black with pink hearts pair were £2 down from £4.

Miscellaneous Buys (Bedding, beauty, books, socks and more)

This post was meant to be up hours ago, but Blogger informed me that I used all of my photo space up and had to buy more. Loads of bloggers have also received the same message. I think it's such a scam. Blogger/Google know that photos are essential to us, so they want to charge us. I've just switched to Photobucket, and these photos are the test to see if it works. Hopefully, you can see them!

Anyway, over the last month or so, I've been buying all sorts of things. I can't remember everything I've bought though - Below is just the majority of it!

Double duvet set - eBay - £14.95, Duck egg waffle fleece bed throw - BHS - Originally £20

You all know I love my bedding! I have the pink and orange version of the duvet set above and absolutely love it, so wanted to get it in the duck egg blue colour scheme. If you like the look of it, you can buy it here. It also goes well with my new bed throw. The throw ended up costing £14, including delivery, because I used a combination of discount codes. The only problem is, is that I don't want my cats getting it dirty because it's too pretty, but the whole point of having it on my bed is to protect my duvet covers.

Burt's Bees tinted lip balm in Pink Blossom - Super Smoocher - Originally £5.99, Vaseline Rosy Lips tinted lip balm - Superdrug - £2.05, Glow in the dark nail polishes in 13 and 14 - eBay - 99p each

I repurchased Vaseline Rosy Lips because it's probably my most used lip product. Because I love it so much, I wanted to try out another tinted lip balm, so bought the Burt's Bees one. I like it, but not as much as the Vaseline one. The nail polishes are really pretty, and are more opaque than I thought they would be! They have a decent glow to them in the dark too. I finished reading The Maze Runner the other day, and quite enjoyed it, so wanted to read the next two books in the trilogy. I also popped The Fury into my basket because it sounded interesting. I said I wouldn't buy any more books for a while because I have assignments to do, but I just couldn't resist!

Marshmallow Fluff 454g - Fizzy Lips (A shop near where I live) - £4.50

After finishing my 200g tub, I wanted the large one. It's certainly large! I can see it lasting ages. It is expensive for a sweet treat, but I treated myself to it because I presented my presentation on Monday.

I love the items above! As well as protecting my phone when in my bag, the fox phone sock will also protect my dictaphone when I need to record data for my assignments.

I went a little crazy with underwear and socks today! Underwear and socks are worn every day though, so at least they'll all be used.

I bought two pairs of the plimsolls because they finally had my size in stock! Whenever I'm in need of them, size 7s are out of stock for months.

New Things!

I said in yesterday's post that I didn't think I was going to buy anything any time soon, so just posted about the few things I did have. Well, I went shopping today haha. I set out to buy t-shirt bras, vests and some sandals and/or dolly shoes to go with my new brown shorts. I didn't get any of those things, but I'm still happy with my purchases.

New Look - Balconette bras - £12.99 and £11.99

I love these bras! They're so pretty. I don't normally spend over £6 on bras (I either buy mine from Primark or buy them when they're in a New Look sale), but I thought I'd treat myself (Again...).

H&M - Cardigans - £9.99 each

I love my H&M cardigans, so couldn't resist these colours. Most of my cardigans are blue, so I wanted to branch out. The green/teal one is a lot brighter in real life. I don't have many warm toned clothes, so I also picked up a peach one. I just need a red one and a pink one now :)

H&M - Flower hair clips - £1.99 each

I've started to clip my fringe back and clips like these look really pretty in. I already have the cream ones in pink, and love them.

Accessorize - Pearl necklace - £4 (Half price)

Obviously, I couldn't resist Accessorize's half price sale - I just had to pop in! As I was leaving, I saw this necklace. My last pearl necklace broke a couple years ago and I haven't worn one since. At £4, I think the necklace is still overpriced though.
